These terms apply to everyone who uses Invely — couples buying an invitation, vendors and wedding organizers working with clients, and guests opening an invitation someone sent them. Please read them before you use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an Invely account, placing an order, or otherwise using Invely, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Invely is operated by an independent individual operator based in Indonesia. In these terms, "Invely", "we", and "us" refer to that operator, and "you" refers to the person or business using the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
2. Description of Service
Invely provides digital invitation and event management services for weddings and other events. Depending on the plan you buy, this can include ready-made invitation themes that you personalise through a form, a published invitation page you share with your guests, RSVP and guestbook collection, guest list management with personal invitation links, and guest check-in on the day of the event.
Vendors and wedding organizers can additionally manage invitations on behalf of their own clients and present the result under their own brand where their plan allows it.
3. Your Account
You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and for keeping your password and sign-in link private.
Accounts are personal. Vendor teams should use staff accounts rather than sharing one login.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
You may not attempt to access an account, invitation, or dashboard that is not yours.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
An invitation is sold as a one-time purchase per invitation. There is no subscription and no renewal fee for couples. The theme and plan you select, and the price you will pay, are shown before you confirm the order.
Prices are in Indonesian Rupiah and include any taxes that apply. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for. Discounted prices are those shown on the product page at the time of purchase.
Depending on how your order is placed, payment is made either through our online payment provider or by confirming the order with us over WhatsApp. An order is only a request until payment is received: the invitation itself is created when the payment is confirmed, not when the order is placed.
Because an invitation is a digital product that is prepared for you and becomes usable as soon as payment is confirmed, orders are generally not refundable. If something goes wrong on our side, write to middleearthdev@gmail.com and we will look at your case individually and in good faith.
5. Invitation Addresses and Validity
Each invitation has its own web address, which you choose during checkout. That address is permanent and cannot be changed afterwards — the same address is used by your invitation page, by your workspace, and by every link already sent to your guests, so changing it would break all of them at once. Please read the confirmation dialog carefully before you confirm.
Addresses are given out on a first-come basis and some words are reserved for the platform. We may reclaim an address that is used to impersonate someone or that infringes a trademark.
An invitation is active for six months from the date it is created. After that, the invitation page stops being available to you and to your guests, and its address may be released for someone else to use. Export anything you want to keep, such as your guest list or RSVP answers, before that date.
6. Vendor Credits and Subscriptions
Vendors publish invitations using credits. One credit is consumed each time a vendor publishes an invitation for a client. Credits are bought in advance, are tied to the vendor account that bought them, and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
A vendor subscription is optional and sits alongside credits. A subscription tier determines which features a vendor can offer its clients and which invitation plans it is allowed to assign, and may grant a recurring credit allowance. Feature availability always follows the tier that is active at the time.
If a vendor subscription lapses or is downgraded, invitations that were already created keep the plan they were sold with. The vendor simply cannot assign the higher plan to new invitations until the tier is restored.
7. Your Content
You keep ownership of everything you put into Invely: your text, photos, videos, music choices, guest lists, and the invitation content you create. We do not claim ownership of it.
By uploading content, you grant Invely a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you — for example rendering your invitation page for the guests you invite, generating previews, and backing up your data. This licence ends when the content is deleted, apart from copies that remain temporarily in backups.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including photographs taken by a photographer and any music you provide (see section 8). We may remove content that we reasonably believe infringes someone else's rights or breaks these terms.
If we would like to feature your published invitation as an example of our work, we will ask you first.
8. Music, Uploaded Media, and Copyright Complaints
Invitations can play background music. You can choose a track from the Invely library or upload your own audio file. The two are treated differently.
Library tracks are provided under licences that allow them to be played inside an invitation published on Invely. They may not be downloaded, extracted, or used outside the invitation, and we may replace or withdraw a library track at any time — for example if its licence changes — in which case the invitation simply plays no music until you choose another one.
Uploaded audio. You are responsible for the rights and permissions covering any audio you upload. Most commercially released songs are protected by copyright, and playing them on a public web page requires permission from the rights holders. Invely does not grant or obtain any licence for audio uploaded by users. Before each upload you confirm, by accepting the rights declaration shown at that point, that you own the audio, hold a licence that permits its use on a public website, or that it is in the public domain or released under a licence that allows this use. Uploading content that infringes someone else's copyright is prohibited. You grant Invely a licence to store, process, and play the audio only to the extent needed to deliver your invitation, as described in section 7. The same applies to photos, videos, and any other media you upload.
Records we keep. For every audio upload we record who uploaded it, when, the file's cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256), the version and text of the rights declaration accepted, and the IP address and browser used. These records are written once and are not edited afterwards; replacing a file creates a new record rather than changing the old one. They are retained after the file or account is deleted and may be provided to a rights holder or authority where the law requires it. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content on an invitation infringes your rights, email middleearthdev@gmail.com with the invitation address, a description of the work and of your rights in it, and your contact details. We review each notice, and where a claim appears valid we disable or remove the content, notify the person who uploaded it, and keep a record of what was done. The uploader may reply with evidence of a licence, in which case we review again. Repeated infringement is grounds for suspending an account under section 13.
9. Guest Data
When you upload a guest list, you decide what is collected and why, and you remain responsible for it. Invely processes guest data on your instructions in order to deliver invitations, collect RSVPs, and run check-in. You agree that you have a lawful basis to share your guests' details with us, and that you will respond to your guests if they ask about their data. How we handle guest data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not use Invely to:
publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or hateful;
impersonate another person, business, or brand, or publish an invitation for an event you have nothing to do with;
send unsolicited bulk messages, or use guest links and invitation addresses for advertising unrelated to the event;
upload malware, or content designed to phish or defraud your guests;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, invitations, servers, or data, or to probe, scan, or overload the service;
scrape, copy, or resell our themes, stock assets, or platform in any form, or use them outside Invely;
circumvent plan limits, credits, payment, or feature gates.
11. Intellectual Property
The Invely platform — its software, interface, brand, name, and logo — belongs to us. Invitation themes, stock photos, graphics, and other assets in our libraries remain the property of Invely or of the designers who made them.
When you buy an invitation, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the chosen theme and its assets within the invitation you purchased on Invely, for as long as that invitation is active. That right does not let you download, redistribute, resell, or reuse a theme or its assets elsewhere, and it does not transfer copyright.
Vendors who design their own themes on Invely keep the rights to their original work. Your content stays yours, as described in section 7.
12. Service Availability
We work hard to keep Invely available and fast, especially on event days, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates, provider outages, and circumstances outside our control can interrupt access. Where we can plan downtime, we will try to schedule it outside peak hours and to give notice.
Features may be added, changed, or withdrawn as the product develops. We will not remove a feature that is essential to an invitation you have already paid for while that invitation is still active.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Invely at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that is used unlawfully, that is used to abuse or endanger other users, or where payment is reversed or disputed without cause. Where the circumstances allow it, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. Serious cases — fraud, attacks on the service, or content that puts people at risk — may be acted on immediately.
On termination, published invitations belonging to the account may be taken offline.
14. Disclaimer and Liability
Invely is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost opportunity arising from your use of the service.
Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Invely for the invitation or service in question during the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for consumer rights you hold under Indonesian law.
15. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may update these terms as Invely develops. The date at the top always reflects the most recent revision, and the current version is always published at this address. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Invely after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We would much rather solve a problem by email than in a courtroom, so please contact us first; any dispute we cannot settle that way will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts.
